There will be a fundraiser at City BarBQ on Friday, Jan 27 anytime during the day.   25% of the sales will benefit the Marching Band and Color Guard.   You can eat in or order out, just be sure to take a copy of the attached fundraiser sheet with you.   Great idea for Super bowl parties!   Pay for the order on Friday and pick up on Sunday! Give to friends who might be interested!   We will have flyers available in the band room, and it will be  posted on the band site!    This is an easy way to make money for the Marching Band and Color Guard!  Forms under <Info Center-Band Documents>

Wright State and Fairborn Synphonic ConcertUse SHIFT+ENTER to open the menu (new window).
On Tuesday November 1st, the Wright State University Symphonic Winds and Jazz Band will have their fall concert at Fairborn High School in the Auditorium.  On the final piece of the evening, the Wright State Winds, Fairborn Symphonic Winds, and the Fairborn Chamber Chorale will combine to perform a special piece entitled “As All The Heavens’ Were A Bell”.  Time is 7:00pm and admission is free.

Parents,

 

Attached is the order form for the Look! winter apparel.  There is an item that is not labeled on the form and that is sweatpants.  You can either get cuffed or open bottoms on the sweatpants.  The cost for the sweatpants is $26.45 for sizes small through XL.  Anything over that would be $3.00 more.  If you want this item please mark the quantity and size clearly on your form.  The sooner we get these in the better.  I am making the deadline by Friday October 21st so we can get these in time for championships.  Please see Mr. Goretta. if you have any questions.

We will have practice at the high school in the morning from 8:30 – 10:30 AM.  The students will be dismissed for lunch from 10:30 – 11:30 AM.  We will start to load the truck promptly at 11:30 AM and we will leave for La Salle at 12:00 PM.  Our performance time is at 3:00 PM. 

Finals begin at 6:00 PM Students will need to have money to eat at the concession stands for dinner.  Awards will be at 8:45 PM and we will leave for home immediately after.  We will arrive back to Fairborn by 10:15 PM. More information in the newsletter under (Info Center)

The snow is melted and it is time for the Fairborn Marching Band and Color Guard annual spring flower sale! Baskets of wave petunias, geraniums, begonias and impatiens will sell for $14 and flats of begonias, impatiens, marigolds, dusty miller, blue ageratum and petunias will sell for $15.00. Also, new this year we will sell vouchers at $9 ea (retail value $10). With the voucher, a person may go to Stocklager Garden Center (14037 Eaton Pike) New Lebanon, Ohio and buy what they want.
